About Sasha Onyx

Originally from the Alps and raised by a Scottish mother, I've traveled, settled, and now live in one of the world's hottest countries.

Sometimes I think there's more sand in my house than outside... Basically, the desert surrounds me. My home overlooks a city with giant towers, but I never go there. I prefer spending time writing. And if not, it means I'm playing hide and seek with my children. I'm obsessed with everything eerie. An absolute fantasy junkie: book, movie, art, whatever. 

Besides that, I'm a severe cat hugger, stone collector, and sci-fi addict. 

Drifting in my world of beautiful monsters, I often lose track of time, only to realize it's 3 in the morning, and I should probably stop typing.

Recent fun fact: We're plagued with crows. The garden is a crow fest. And that's because I keep giving them food. It's a little secret. These black boys are driving my husband crazy. He devised a subterfuge in order to make them leave. Fake birds of prey. 

And now I have ugly plastic hawks in all corners of my garden, but it doesn't stop me from feeding them or the crows returning. 

In addition to birds, I love a great party, the sea as much as the desert, and I never miss a chance to dig my toes in the sand. But let's be frank, I just love writing. My fourth love after my husband and children.
